Fee's and Funding

Monthly Setting Contribution * Applicable to all funding groups

Children in receipt of 3 year and extended entitlement:

Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of funded, high quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the cost of meals, snacks, consumables, additional hours or additional services, trips or additional activities. We operate a schedule of charges to  ensures that we can deliver the funded entitlements consistently so that all children accessing any of the funded entitlements will receive the same quality and access to provision, regardless of whether they choose to pay for optional hours, services, meals or consumables. Please note we currently do not provide a lunch meal.

We will be happy to discuss any charges associated with the sessions on your visit to the setting. We do not provide a price list because we flexibly offer our entitlement to meet each families individual needs so actual cost is entirely dependent on your individual needs.

Children in receipt of FEET funding:

We currently have a charge which is voluntary. If  parents are unable  to pay this contribution parents are required to provide additional items to the pre school to ensure children receive a consistently high quality of care and education. We do emphasise that the items which are requested generally cost the parent a higher amount than the contribution  as we do subsidise this cost to keep it low ensuring it is not a barrier to accessing childcare.

Sunny Days aims to provide high quality care for each and every child and we can only do this if parents are supportive of this policy.  Parents are requested to provide the following if they opt out of the setting contribution:

On a ongoing need basis:

  • Sun Screen

On a daily/ sessional basis:

  • Snacks (1 per session), which should be healthy and nutritious. This should be sent prepared in a disposable named snack bag (zip lock bags are ideal for this)

  • A packed lunch in a suitable cooled named lunch box

On a monthly basis:

  • 4 x packs of baby wipes (for use during very messy activities)

  • 2 packs of family tissues

  • 1 x 4 pack of kitchen towel (for hygiene & personal care)

  • 2 x antibacterial hand wash dispensers (for hygiene & personal care)

  • 1 x 4 pack of toilet roles (for hygiene & personal care)
