Where the Passion Begins
Passionate, dedicated, and loving, Sunny Days teachers love their work and it shows in everything they do. Their goal is to make a positive difference on children who come to our Nursery School. Strong partnerships between staff and their parents and carers provides the perfect foundation for our children to play, learn and thrive.
Clare (Managing Director & SENCO)
Clare has always had a passion for working with children. She holds a BA (Hons) in Early years Leadership and management in practice. Clare has over 20 years experience in working with children; for the past 10 years this has been in the capacity of a manager and owner of several pre-schools. Clare is the settings SENCO and also the Designated safeguarding Lead offering formal safeguarding training to both her own setting and other settings in the community endorsed by SSCB.
Richard (Deputy Manager/ Director)
Richard first entered the Early years profession and embarked on his Level 3 training in 2015. He has worked in the capacity of Practitioner, Deputy Manager and joint owner since then. Richard loves working with children because they are so much fun. He loves being a male practitioner and bringing different opportunities to children and families. Richard holds enhanced training in Safeguarding Children.
Leanne (Room Leader)
Leanne has been with Sunny Days and now holds the senior position of our Active 2's room Leader. She has a daughter and likes to spend time with her family. Leanne found her passion for early years when she had her daughter. Prior to joining Sunny Days Leanne has had experience working with children aged 6 months to 5 years. Leanne loves working with children because of their innocence and how when she plays they find it so much fun.
Rabia Usman (Early years Playworker)
Rabia has significant experience in working with children and has done so for the past 10 years. She previously worked with the Local education authority in the REMA department supporting language translation. Her passion for early years is remarkable, she loves to make a difference to children and it gives her a sense of self achievement. Rabia is currently undertaking her Level 3 in early years so she has a formal qualification. She would love to progress to a senior level at Sunny Days.
Zoey Hansford (Early years Play Work
Zoey decided to work with children because she seems to attract them and she enjoys it. She has worked with children in different ways for the past 10 years. She loves children's energy and their excitement, she loves seeing them grow their own personalities.
Lucy (Early years Apprentice)
Lucy has grown up surrounded by children in her family home. She decided to work with children because she believes she gets on well with them. She has a calming patience with children with helps them to play and learn.Lucy loves the children's imagination and how they show an interest in Learning and Playing. Lucy would like to own her own nursery one day! Lucy is currently embarking on her Level 3 formal qualification in Early years.
